Our desire at GVBC is to carry out the Great Commission as commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ. We desire to be intentional in reaching people with the Gospel, teaching people the Word of God, and ministering to the needs of people.
Below are some of our programs here at GVBC that are designed to share the love of Christ through ministering to those in need.

The vision for our annual Back to School Bash is to ensure that every child in Wilkes County never has to start the school year without the supplies they need for a brand new school year. This event is a fun filled event for the entire family as we have all sorts of entertainment for all ages that includes face painting, bouncy houses and lots more.
Not only do we strive to ensure that kids have the necessary supplies for school, we also strive to share the gospel with every soul that attends. Our prayer is that through this ministry God can reach the hurting souls with the hope He can bring and to help meet the needs of our local community with the love of Jesus Christ.
For many combat veterans and first responders, the stress doesn’t end when the deployment ends or the siren goes silent. Too often, the first to respond to the needs of others are the last to seek help for themselves following a traumatic event.
But through REBOOT Recovery, there is hope after trauma.

Can you begin to image what would happen if we as Christians began to pray for just one person, and shared the gospel with that person? Will you commit to pray for someone on a daily basis? We must do everything it takes to take the gospel to the lost and it begins with us. For more information please visit http://www.whosyourone.com
